      Discover THE Skills

CSE – Communication Skills Evaluation is our online and interpersonal assessment service, specially designed for companies that need to understand the English communication competencies of their candidates.

Often, a person may have a certified English level, but over time they may lose the ability to express themselves clearly in speaking or to handle situations effectively. This service focuses on observing all communicative aspects in addition to the CEFR level identified (A1 A2 B1 B2 C1 C2) .

This is not a traditional English exam, but a real communication evaluation in English (problem solving), with content tailored to the specific job position or task to be performed. The company outlines its needs and objectives, and the evaluation is designed based on these guidelines.

It provides a comprehensive evaluation (not by isolated areas) of the four essential communication skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.

CSE addresses the limitation of traditional exams which, by focusing on single correct answers and specific structures—such as fill-in-the-blank exercises or missing letters—often fail to reflect a candidate’s true communicative ability.

The candidate will receive a PDF report that details their communication performance as percentages in the following areas:

  • Communication Achievement: the ability to fulfill and achieve the communication objectives of the given situations.

  • Linguistic Resources: the appropriate use of vocabulary, grammar, and structures corresponding to the expressed level in all communicative instances.

  • Discourse Management: the ability to organize and articulate ideas with coherence, clarity, and fluency from beginning to end.

  • Content Development: the competence to provide relevant and well-structured information.

Basic 1 – 50%: limited comprehension and production. Able to communicate simple ideas in highly predictable contexts, with support and frequent difficulties in accuracy and fluency.

Functional 50–80%: communicates effectively in routine situations. Achieves understandable exchanges, though with limitations in complexity, vocabulary, and accuracy.

Solid 80–96%: clear, consistent, and autonomous communication. Handles a variety of contexts, organizes ideas coherently, and maintains fluent interactions, with minor errors that do not affect meaning.

Precise 97–100%: precise, flexible, and strategic communication. Adapts to context, interlocutor, and purpose, using the language with a high degree of control and naturalness.

The report you will receive is a professional communicational evaluation report in the English language. It is descriptive and advisory in nature, prepared using the CSE – Communication Skills Evaluation methodology developed by Integrado, based on the observation and analysis of the candidate’s communicative performance. It does not constitute a diploma or certificate and allows visualization of the level of development of each dimension of the communicational process.

Throughout the entire evaluation process, the interlocutor guides and interacts with the participant, and the thematic content is adapted to the corresponding professional or academic field (such as hospitality, management, administration, sales, tour guiding, customer service, biology, psychology, history, etc.).

Through different tasks, the candidate must answer personal questions, organize topics, and reorganize ideas based on readings and audio materials. In addition, the candidate will interact continuously with the interlocutor, expressing well-founded opinions, and will produce written texts such as essays, emails, notes, and forum discussions.

The objective is to assess the ability to communicate clearly, coherently, and effectively in academic, social, or professional contexts. Ideal for companies, human resources services, and institutions.
