Título de licenciado en comunicación

The primary role of a communicologist is to make visible and understandable the multiple processes that surround us. My work supports and empowers both individuals and groups in different situations by providing tools that contribute to understanding what is happening and developing life skills.

"Life skills are personal, interpersonal, cognitive, and physical abilities that enable individuals to manage and direct their lives, develop the capacity to live harmoniously with their environment, and influence change within it." — Ottawa Charter, WHO, 1998

Communicologist – A Profession with Many Areas

When people talk about communication, most associate it with technology, radio, TV, or cinema—but that represents only about 10%. The field is much broader.

Communicology studies communication across different contexts, media, techniques, and systems (physical, chemical, biosemiotic, cognitive, emotional, etc.). The approach we develop provides tools to understand entire networks of contact, enhancing individuals’ ability to comprehend their communicational environment and contribute to both individual and organizational well-being.

To explore the foundations of Communicology developed here, I recommend reading “From Another Place.”

The primary role of a communicologist is to make visible and understandable the multiple processes surrounding us, identifying the pathways where interpretations and emotions are supported, so that, through system understanding, we can act in favor of our well-being.
